The 'Drawing Techniques for Illustrators' workshop on June 19th went well and the students were kept very busy all day. As my studio is surrounded by my garden we were hoping to have our lunch outside, but the weather was just not quite warm enough. This will have to wait for the next workshops in August!
The students seen busily drawing in these photos were fairly evenly matched in terms of ability, so they were able to move through the exercises at a brisk pace. During the day, they made some props and aids to assist them with the difficult task of drawing children, which they took with them to be of further support when continuing to practise independently at home.
