The majority of my illustrations have been created with children's picture books in mind. Typically I use dip pens and ink, pencils and watercolours for my illustrations. My preferred subject matter tends to be flora and fauna, as this offers an infinitely rich variety of forms, textures and colours. In particular, I am fascinated by nature's patterns and markings, and these form recurring themes in many of my drawings and illustrations. |
